Community Guidelines

People publish dreams here that they would not say out loud. That only works if this stays a safe place to do it.

Treat a published dream as something entrusted, not something offered

Someone chose to publish a strange, personal, sometimes frightening thing. Respond to it the way you would want yours responded to.

Never try to unmask an anonymous dreamer

Guessing at someone's identity, cross-referencing details to work out who they are, or asking others to help identify them is one of the fastest ways to lose your account here. Anonymity is load-bearing for this product.

Do not diagnose people

“This dream means you have X” is not permitted, whatever X is. You can say a dream resembles yours, moved you, or unsettled you. You cannot tell someone what their mind is doing, and you must never tell anyone to stop taking medication or avoid professional care.

Do not overstate connections

A high Dream Connection Score means two reports share unusual elements. It is not proof of telepathy, prophecy, or a shared dimension. Speculate freely and enjoyably — but do not present speculation to other people as established fact.

Not allowed at all

  • Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse
  • Sexual exploitation, or any sexual content involving minors
  • Graphic violence published for shock
  • Hate content directed at people for who they are
  • Doxxing — addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, or other identifying details
  • Attempts to identify anonymous dreamers
  • Dangerous medical or psychological claims

Messaging

Direct messages require mutual consent. You can send one connection request to a dreamer; they decide whether a conversation opens. Anyone can block anyone, and either party can end a conversation at any time.

Reporting

Every dream and comment has a report control. Reports are visible only to you and to moderators. Automated screening flags likely violations for human review — it never deletes anything on its own.

If a dream worries you

If someone's dream or comment suggests they may be in danger, report it and, if you feel able, respond with kindness rather than analysis. DreamWeb is not a substitute for professional mental-health or medical support.
